One of the great songs of theCall Nashville had to be this one…. it immediately spoke to the wonderment of why we were all there - to lift up the name of Jesus - Enjoy! and stay tuned to my next posting… I will give you the interpretation of the previous Vision I shared with you on a New Era of Renaissance.
It was during the last 30 minutes of theCall Nashville - a man came onto the podium and begin to explain some things relative to a period of time when the Church had gone thru a “Dark Age”. I remember studying this in college or something. The speaker then begin to explain how God brought the church out of this dark time period. He said that God used the “arts” whether it was music, sculpture, painting, science etc. The man then begin to explain that the word and spirit of God was catapulted into these different forms of art and what emerged from this, was a new era - it was called the Renaissance Era.
The man then begin to pray and declare that the church, especially the church in the West is going through a similar dark age, we know this by the divorce rate in the church, the abortion issue, the recent exposing of sexual immorality among leadership in the church and while he was praying I begin to see what I knew to be stars and sense the space atmosphere and I felt like I was beholding the galaxies of the universe. I was puzzled, but I knew that this vision had something to do with what this man was saying regarding the renaissance. I continued to see and sense light, stars, sounds and colors. Everything appeared to look the same in terms of visual forms of everything, however the physical compositions of took on the composition of the atmosphere and star, it would be like looking at a cloud from the land, only to see it from a plane’s perspective and finding out that the cloud properties actually appear to you much different, and that you could easily fly right through it. Well that’s how everything was…visually everything remained true to form, but in terms of the physcial makeup - everything changed! I could see the stars and galaxies and sound and lights mixed into everyones skin and faces. The sky was part of their skin etc…you get my point? (more…)
Somberly or gravely impressive. See Synonyms at serious.
Performed with full ceremony: a solemn High Mass.
As I’ve had a little more time to meditate and reflect about the impact of theCall Nashville and the significance it had on my family and the families of those who also attend it. The question came to me, why a solemn assembly? I won’t try to force feed you with a feel good answer, but I will say this, I believe as it was in the day of early biblical times, that there were certain protocols and ways of approaching God that without fail, got God’s attention. Calling a Solemn assembly is one of those ways. (more…)
The event was of epic proportions, I’m still reeling from the intense heat and overall exertion of being out in the sun for 12 hours. My wife and two sons endured the elements like good soldiers. I have a lot to share about the event. But if you want to gain a glimpse of what God was releasing, view the following clip and listen to the word of the Lord being declared as it is written in the book of, Joel chapter 2 verse 28.
Here’s another one, Everyone was shouting JESUS!!! JESUS!!! JESUS!!!
The Black Church and community and could be in same position as the widow was in Elisha’s day. Where this very noble widow saw the miraculous hand of God give her a son through the prophetic word of Elisha and in the same manner, the forefather’s of African American’s all across America share the same history after witnessing His hand upon them. (i.e. - the tremendous courage and strength of overcoming slavery, racism and segration) but with all that they saw, still they remain helpless and powerless as it relates to their posterity and now have witnessed their own seed of promise (i.e. - the next generation of black youth ) disintegrate into the webs of homosexuality, the hip-hop cultture, and abortion. But there is hope, if she’ll pray, that is - black leaders within the black church and community. God then could then lead her to the prophet and she could see her promised son, raised back to life. Could African American Christian Men hold the keys to the ending of abortion through prayer and intercession? Read the dream below…
In the dream I remember driving somewhere up North, it appeared to be on the highway of I 75 North, I remember having my old blue 78 Cadillac, I loved that car, it seemed like the dream was a throwback dream back to the 70’s. I remember my twin brother Darrell being with me in my car as I was driving.
All of a sudden the dream shifts, and I remember being in an apartment building. It was in the middle of very run down neighborhood, kind of like a ghetto or very poor and ran down public housing building community in all black neighborhood. I remember being physically in an apartment where I saw an African-American mother. I never saw her face, nor did I know her name, she remained nameless and faceless through-out the entire dream. I knew she had a little son. I couldn’t understand her connection to me nor could I understand why I was in her apartment. I knew she was a single mother and that she was struggling emotionally, physically, socially and economically to raise her son and to make in her own life.
