The Black Church and community and could be in same position as the widow was in Elisha’s day. Where this very noble widow saw the miraculous hand of God give her a son through the prophetic word of Elisha and in the same manner, the forefather’s of African American’s all across America share the same history after witnessing His hand upon them. (i.e. - the tremendous courage and strength of overcoming slavery, racism and segration) but with all that they saw, still they remain helpless and powerless as it relates to their posterity and now have witnessed their own seed of promise (i.e. - the next generation of black youth ) disintegrate into the webs of homosexuality, the hip-hop cultture, and abortion. But there is hope, if she’ll pray, that is - black leaders within the black church and community. God then could then lead her to the prophet and she could see her promised son, raised back to life. After sharing a very powerful dream to a friend mine (see previous blog posting) , he later stated, “Darrian you were at Elisha’s House” I responded, “Your are right, I was!” After my friend said that… something resonated with me about Elisha’s House after pondering the dream for a couple of days I begin to get visions by the spirit of God, which I continue to have. When I use the word vision I want to be sure that I’m clear. What I mean by vision is an ever existing visual or revelation that often times comes to me after the Lord speaks, it reveals or communicates with me in a special way, maybe you have these too and didn’t know what to think of it. Please know too that I am fully aware that there is a potential that God doesn’t always speak to or communicate to other’s in this way. But if I bottom-lined it, I would say that God communicates to me in dreams very often. Read the following verse this has become a life scripture.

(Job 33:14-21)

14 For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it. 15 He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they lie in their beds. 16 He whispers in their ears and terrifies them with warnings. 17 He makes them turn from doing wrong; he keeps them from pride. 18 He protects them from the grave, from crossing over the river of death.

After my friend shared with me his interpretation of the dream that I’ve previously shared with you. I begin to see in a picture a house, it was an upper room. But what was strange, was that it was pitch black in the house, like no one lived there. But inside the pitch black room dwelled the fear of God. As I viewed the vision, I could easily smell, hear and sense the fear of the awesome presence of God. This presence is not a frightening presence as much as was a very awe fearing presence of holy fear, rightenoussness and mercy for God’s judgements to be revealed in the lives of believers and the Church. Elisha’s House will be a house where the profoundness of the character of God will be clarified and understood clearly once again, and not only that, but the people who come into this house, which I believe is spiritual house will also be marked by overwhelming fear of God with miracles and signs of wonders following. Elisha’s House will even moreso be a movement of the spirit of God where God is bringing the African American Church into a spiritual resurrection - for there must be a resuscitatation done tupon the sons and daughters of the black church, just like there needs to be one done to the black church and community and next generation of youth outside the church i.e.) Hip Hop Artist, Old Political Leaders etc…and just like Elisha needed to rescuscitate the little boy. We need THE prophetic Fathers to arise and breathe again on the the youth of our day, the rejects, the drug kingpins, the misfit and mundane. The devil posessed ones! Elisha’s House will be a house where the dunamis power of God will abide which will shut, defeat, break, destroy all other contending powers. Elisha’s House will bid deliverance and transformation and will strike faith in the hearts of the sons and daughters who otherwise were left hopeless; a powerless, nameless and faceless church - very similar to the shunammite widow who ran to Elisha.

The shunnamite women is the black church in the dream. More to come on this…

God I decree that these are the days that you are raising a s prophetic company of men and women, boy and girl, young and old who carry your message of truth boldly to the public square and communities and cities of this nation. And that not only will they be raised to carry this , but to now activate an entire generation of leaders within the black church to arise and respond in the manifold giftings and graces of our Lord Jesus Christ, whether their called to the maket place or five-fold minitry. Father I pray that their would be a mighty activation and I pray that God this activation would begin in Atlanta and that you would use Bishop Boone as the new catalyst for this people group and community - The black community Lord I pray.
